Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various environments, including commercial and residential spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure a clean environment.
- Conduct facilities maintenance duties including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
- Execute custodial responsibilities in both commercial and residential settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Operate floor care equipment for buffing and polishing surfaces.
- Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Skills
- Experience in facilities maintenance or custodial work is preferred.
- Familiarity with buffing equipment and floor care techniques.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and standards.
- Ability to perform residential painting tasks when needed.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
