TEAM LEADER (Harlem, NY)
Starting Pay: $26.66/hr.
JOB DUTIES:
- Perform cleaning duties alongside team members for the majority of each shift.
- Lead and direct team members on-site, assigning tasks and adjusting workflow as needed.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the shift and address issues as they arise.
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use.
- Monitor supply and equipment levels and report shortages or equipment concerns.
- Follow and enforce health, safety, and OSHA standards.
- Track team attendance and punctuality.
- Resolve routine on-site issues and escalate significant concerns to the Operations Supervisor.
- Complete and submit daily and weekly reports, including task completion, incidents, and supply needs.
- Ensure proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment used by the team.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 1-2 years of supervisory or management experience in commercial or residential cleaning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and supervise a small team.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and safety procedures.
- Basic organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
- Ability to work schedules that may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
