Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, slicers, mixers, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas to uphold food safety standards
- Assist with meal preparation and plating to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and maintain workflow
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to recipe guidelines
Experience
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Proven food preparation and cooking experience in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal assembly techniques
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
- Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and proficiency operating various kitchen equipment
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, cleaning protocols, and adhering to health regulations
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment

- Friday: 10a-6:30p
- Saturday: 10a-6:30p
- Sunday: 10a-6:30p
- Monday: 5a-1:30p
- Tuesday: 5a-1:30p
