Job Skills / Requirements

Job Duties is as follow:

1. Receiving of the work – Mail Services delivers the various projects to us (boxes, interoffice envelopes, postal mail, and/or bags). They need to be recorded as to the project name and the estimated quantity and a sticky note attached so they can be scanned in date order.
2. Prepping – Getting the documents ready to send through a digital scanning machine, removing staples, taping tears, moving sticky notes that cover data, turning documents right-readable, etc.
3. Assigning of the work – Assigning the work, by date received, for completion.
4. Scanning – Converting the paper/film document to digital through a scanning machine, scanned in color where applicable. There are some projects needing completed daily, others weekly, and then others are first-in-first-out by date received. May include importing electronic images since not all projects are paper.
5. Indexing – Keying in the pertinent information the department indicated for search and retrieval.
6. Quality Check (QC) – Reviewing document-to-document to make sure the image is a good quality (dark enough, light enough, all information is showing, etc.), as well as the indexing is correct.
7. Research – We receive research requests for records that have not yet been scanned (in the project room needing completed), from microfilm, from the bank, and sometimes from storage. These need to be researched and fulfilled to the requestor.

Minimum Qualifications Education: High school degree preferred, but not required.

Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.

Physical and Working Conditions Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push and pull.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs .Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned tasks with production and service time frames as established by the company.
