Position Summary:
The Area Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of custodial services as outlined in the schedule of Operations at facilities to which he or she is assigned.
- Train, coach, guide and directly supervise assigned personnel.
- Plan and organize all custodial operations.
- Perform continuous inspections of facility areas taking appropriate actions as needed to resolve sub-standard or non- conforming performances.
- Continually evaluate methods, procedures, processes and materials to improve performance and reduce operating cost.
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations.
- Allocate work as needed due to shortages or special requirements or events.
- Take immediate action on routine complaints; report those of a serious nature to the Director of Operations, Operations Administrator or Senior Management.
- Review and verify time keeping reports by payroll deadlines.
