Description
Seeking Part Time Employees to fulfill shifts:
5:30 - 9:30pm
Responsibilities
• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, etc.)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects such as floor buffing
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Coordinate and cooperate with team members
• Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements
Preferred Skills and Abilities
• General understanding of ongoing housekeeping and cleaning procedures.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety rules.
• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to exercise common sense, good judgement, and consistency
• Attentive to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications
• Proven working experience as a Janitor, 1 year preferred
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to bend, reach, grasp, stoop, stand and/or walk for extended periods.
Salary : $23 - $30
