Job Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Janitorial Day Porter to help keep our building clean, safe, and neat throughout the day. The right person will take pride in their work, notice details, and help keep the building looking its best. This is a part-time position for someone who enjoys staying active and working on their own.

Job Duties

• Clean and restock restrooms throughout the day.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed.
• Empty trash cans and replace trash bags.
• Clean doors, glass, tables, and other shared areas.
• Keep entrances, hallways, and common areas neat.
• Wipe down touch points such as door handles and counters.
• Refill soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean up spills and other messes in a timely manner.
• Report any damage, safety risks, or supply needs to the supervisor.
• Follow cleaning steps and safety rules.
• Use cleaning products and tools in a safe way.
• Help with other cleaning tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be dependable and arrive to work on time.
• Must be able to work on your own and follow directions.
• Must be able to speak and understand basic English.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach during the shift.
• Must be able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and trash bags.
• Must be willing to learn and follow safe cleaning methods.
• Must treat staff, visitors, and customers with respect.
• Janitorial or cleaning experience is helpful but not required.

Schedule

This is a part-time position in Findlay, Ohio. Work hours and days will be discussed during the hiring process.
