Clean Slate Solar is a growing community and commercial solar developer, owner, and operator with projects across NJ, MD, and NY. With multiple projects under construction and an expanding operating portfolio, we’re building out our internal finance and asset management team.
We’re looking for an Accounting & Finance Manager to own our core accounting, lender reporting, and operating asset financial management.
What You’ll Do
· Own and manage QuickBooks across holding companies and project-level SPVs
· Track and capitalize development, construction, and operating costs
· Manage AP/AR and cash across entities
· Prepare monthly and quarterly lender reporting and track covenant compliance
· Maintain clean, audit-ready financials
· Coordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors
· Track operating asset performance vs. budgets
· Support production reporting, billing, and community solar revenue reconciliation
Who You Are
· 3–6 years of experience in accounting, finance, or asset management
· Strong QuickBooks experience (required)
· Experience with project-based or asset-backed financing (solar, renewables, real estate, or infrastructure preferred)
· Comfortable working directly with lenders and auditors
· Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a lean team
· CPA or public accounting background is a plus, not required
