Summary: The Cleaner is responsible for the cleaning of assigned business areas, including but not limited to restrooms, offices, and other public areas. The Cleaner is expected to work cooperatively with other team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required (GED)
- Must be able to pass drug test and criminal background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical ability requirements include being able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, lift up to 20 lbs., and use proper technique when cleaning furniture, carpets, tile floors or hard surfaces. These physical requirements include being able to perform activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, twisting, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
The Cleaner will have the ability to use various cleaning equipment including steamers, mops, vacuums, scrubbers, etc.
Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Set up workstations with all cleaning equipment needed for a given job.
- Use proper equipment and techniques when cleaning business areas.
- Move furniture or other objects that would block doorwayways or elevators.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain cleanliness of trash areas.
- Clean surfaces when cleaning hardwood or tile floors.
- Apply stain protection to carpets when cleaning.
- Report any damage to furniture or fixtures to management.
This position may require travel between different locations in Lafayette, LA

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
