Duties
- Develop customized menus that reflect clients’ dietary needs, preferences, and seasonal ingredients while maintaining high standards of presentation and flavor.
- Prepare and serve gourmet meals across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events such as banquets or catering functions.
- Oversee all food production activities, ensuring food safety standards are strictly followed throughout the kitchen.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize food management efficiency.
- Supervise kitchen staff and support team members in food handling, food service management, and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen environment.
- Coordinate with vendors for sourcing fresh ingredients and specialty items needed for diverse menus.
- Lead shift management by overseeing daily operations, ensuring timely food service delivery, and maintaining exceptional hospitality standards.
- Implement food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations while training staff on proper food handling techniques.
- Collaborate with clients on menu planning for special occasions or dietary restrictions such as gluten-free, vegan, or low-sodium diets.
- Maintain a positive team environment by providing leadership, mentorship, and ongoing training to culinary staff.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining cuisine and catering services.
- Proven banquet experience with the ability to manage large-scale events seamlessly.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen or hospitality setting with effective team management skills.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices and specialized dietary needs accommodation.

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
