Role Description This is a full-time remote Carpenter role supporting Clean Slate Concrete projects through planning, coordination, and site work as needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting plans and specifications, coordinating framing and finish carpentry elements for concrete-related structures, and advising on material selection and construction methods. The Carpenter will use hand tools and power tools to build, repair, and install forms, frames, and finishes, ensuring precise measurements and alignment. The role also involves collaborating with project managers and field teams, maintaining safety standards, documenting progress, and communicating clearly through remote tools and occasional on-site work where required.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to read plans, measure accurately, and execute structural and finish work.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools commonly used in carpentry and concrete formwork.
- Experience in framing, including layout, cutting, and assembling structural components.
- Competence in finish carpentry, such as trimming, detailing, and ensuring clean, precise finishes.
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and ability to follow company safety guidelines.
- Effective communication skills and comfort using remote collaboration tools (phone, video, project management software).
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and adapt to changing project needs.
- Previous experience in concrete or general construction environments is beneficial.
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school, apprenticeship, or relevant certifications are a plus.
