Duties
- Perform oil changes quickly and accurately, including draining old oil, replacing filters, and refilling with the correct type of oil.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues related to fluid levels, and general maintenance needs.
- Assist with additional vehicle services such as tire rotation, wheel alignment, and tire service when required.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
- Communicate clearly with customers about the services performed and recommend additional maintenance or repairs as appropriate.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Previous service technician experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
