Position Overview:
Clean Pool Squad is looking for a dependable and motivated individual to join our field team as a Pool Technician. This role involves hands-on pool maintenance, pool repair, problem solving, customer interaction, and equipment care. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, enjoy working outdoors, and can provide friendly, professional service.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform pool equipment repair, problem solve, order parts.
- Perform routine pool cleaning: skimming, brushing, and vacuuming.
- Test and balance water chemistry for safe, clear pools.
- Monitor and report on pool equipment performance.
- Address customer questions and concerns with a service-first attitude.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Follow safety procedures and operational standards.
- Work independently or alongside team members in the field.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license preferred
- Access to a reliable truck or car for use during service routes (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Previous pool care experience is a bonus but not required—we’ll train the right person
Perks & Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $18.41–$25.00 (based on experience)
- Flexible work schedules: Monday–Friday with optional weekend availability
- Signing bonus: $500 for new techs or $1,000 for experienced techs (paid after 6 months of employment)
