Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial painting, with a strong understanding of color theory and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and proficiency with various painting techniques and tools.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and airless paint spraying equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the scope of work.
• Renovate existing structures through repainting or refinishing surfaces.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various painting tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial painting or similar roles.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and repair is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and airless paint spraying equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and improve skills as needed.

Pay: $15.13 - $18.61 per hour
