We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Buyer. This role supports our procurement efforts by sourcing, inspecting, and purchasing scrap aluminum from accounts around the globe. No previous experience is required—full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Learn to identify, sort, and evaluate various grades of scrap aluminum (training provided)
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Assist with price negotiations and follow current metal market trends.
- Travel to suppliers as needed to inspect material and build customer relations.
- Accurately document purchases, weights, pricing, and material specifications.
- Work closely with yard operations to ensure proper handling and processing of purchased material.
- Maintain a safe work environment and comply with company policies
- No experience required - training is provided.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn about the metals recycling industry.
- Aggressive self-starter that will help build up customers.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel.
- Experience in recycling, metals, industrial sales, or logistics is a plus.
- Knowledge of metal grades, commodities, or purchasing is helpful but not necessary.
- Customer relations experience.
