Laundry Production Helper

Job Summary

Clean Jeans Laundromat is hiring a part-time Laundry Production Helper to assist with wash-and-fold and commercial laundry production.

This position is focused mostly on sorting, folding, stacking, bagging, and helping move laundry through the store efficiently. We process both individual customer orders and large commercial linen accounts, so the work can be fast-paced and repetitive, especially during busy summer weeks.

This is a hands-on production role. It is a good fit for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable staying on task while standing, folding, sorting, and moving laundry for several hours at a time.

Starting pay is $12/hour. Some approved evening, overnight, or peak commercial-production shifts may include temporary additional shift pay.

Duties

• Sort laundry by customer, account, item type, or instructions
• Fold towels, sheets, linens, clothing, and other laundry items
• Stack, bag, label, and organize completed laundry orders
• Help load and unload washers and dryers
• Move laundry carts, baskets, bags, and finished orders as needed
• Follow order instructions carefully to keep customer and commercial accounts separated
• Keep the folding and production areas clean and organized
• Help maintain a clean store, including basic sweeping, wiping down surfaces, removing lint, and general cleanup
• Report damaged items, stains, machine issues, or order concerns to a shift lead or manager
• Follow safety procedures when working around commercial washers, dryers, carts, and cleaning products
• Assist with other laundromat tasks as needed during the shift

Skills & Requirements

• No laundry experience required; training will be provided
• Must be dependable and able to show up on time for scheduled shifts
• Must be comfortable with repetitive work such as folding, sorting, stacking, and bagging
• Must be able to stand for most of the shift
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift, and move laundry bags, baskets, and carts
• Strong attention to detail is important
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be able to work at a steady pace without constant supervision
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is helpful
• Hospitality, housekeeping, warehouse, production, or laundry experience is helpful but not required

Schedule

This is a part-time position. Expected hours are generally 12–25 hours per week, with additional hours possible during peak commercial laundry volume.

Evening, overnight, and weekend availability is especially helpful. Hours may vary depending on business needs and commercial laundry volume.

Pay

Starting pay is $12/hour.

Some approved evening, overnight, or peak commercial-production shifts may include temporary additional shift pay. Any additional shift pay will be discussed before those shifts are scheduled.

Clean Jeans is a locally owned laundromat in Azle. We serve self-service customers, wash-and-fold customers, pickup and delivery customers, and commercial laundry accounts.
