What are the responsibilities and job description for the OTR Class A Owner Operator position at Clean Harbors?
Clean Harbors is looking for an OTR Class A Dry Van Owner Operator to join their safety conscious team in Salt Lake City, Utah or Las Vegas, NV. This lane will cover between SLC/ Las Vegas area to the San Jose area in Northern California (The drivers can be based out of Salt Lake area in Utah or in Nevada - Reno or Las Vegas.).It is about 700-750 miles between facilities one way, so it is 1,400-1,500 miles for a round-trip. The drivers must be able to do two round-trips per week (2,800-3,000 miles total).

- Average $200-250K per year
- Bi-Weekly home time
- Compensation package includes on-duty time paid via hourly demurrage rates, non-asset hourly rates, and/or mileage pay

- Operates tractor trailer units
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
- Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
- Maintains daily logs, invoicing, time sheets, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
- Class A CDL
- HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
- Minium 12 months of Class A driving experience
- Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
