Facility Technician

Job Description

Clean Harbors located in Belpre, OH is seeking a Facility Technician to add to their team. The Facility Technician performs hands-on operations including drum pumping, tank farm operations, and offloading of waste materials. This role ensures safe and compliant handling of materials and equipment in support of facility operations, while in training to become a Chemical Operator.

Shift: Day Shift

Pay: $20-22 DOE

Responsibilities

• Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
• Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements;
• Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections;
• Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement;
• Maintain area compliance with permit standards;
• Meet or exceed daily production goals;
• Keep work areas clean and organized;
• All other duties as required by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required;
• Must be 18 years or older;
• 1 Years of related experience;
• Forklift experience preferred;
• Ability to use computer efficiently;
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
