Kitchen exhaust hood cleaning technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the kitchen side of the service. We remove anll grease from fans, ducts, and hoods to nfpa code 96. We are doing fire protection cleanings. Ensuring that all areas are cleaned to code/standard and left in the same if not better condition . This role requires a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. All crews are 2 man teams. on job training done with a supervisor. Currently opening our second branch in Indianapolis and are wanting a person that is driven and looking to make a career. We do all promotions from within and will have openings as branch manager, crew supervisor, and crew member.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas.
• Utilize appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing attention or maintenance. document and take pictures
• Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and coverage of all cleaning tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report any issues related to cleanliness or maintenance to the supervisor promptly.
• Occasionally assist with delivery driving or field service tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in exhaust hood cleaning, pressure washing, or food service role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with equipment repair, appliance repair, or service technician duties is a plus.
• Basic electrical knowledge is advantageous for minor repairs or troubleshooting.
• Competence in operating pressure washer
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to lift and move items as required during cleaning tasks.
