Role Description
Clean Energy is looking for an Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join our team in Denver, Colorado or Newport Beach, CA. This is a full-time role with flexibility for some remote work. This role supports operational teams in achieving a continuous "audit-ready" state, conducts inspections, and drives corrective actions to maintain regulatory compliance. procedures, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training to employees.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of safety regulations and standards: OSHA, EPA, NFPA, etc.
- Experience in developing and implementing safety policies and procedures
- Ability to conduct safety inspections and provide safety training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or related field
- 3-5 years experience in Environmental Health and Safety
- Equivalent professional experience in health and safety may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree.
