Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Freight Broker based in Atlanta, GA. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing freight operations, arranging transportation, and coordinating logistics solutions. Daily tasks will include cold calling, negotiating rates, tracking freight, managing carrier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of shipments. The role requires effective communication and relationship management with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Freight Brokerage and Brokerage with a deep understanding of logistics operations and market trends
- Strong skills in Customer Service and Account Management to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience with Dispatching and managing freight operations effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational abilities
- Proficiency with logistics software and technologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the logistics or transportation industry and book of business is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or related fields are advantageous
