We’re seeking a full-charge bookkeeper to own day-to-day accounting and month-end close for small, commercial millwork company. This role encompasses most of the bookkeeping processes with support from admin, receiving manager, and the Director. You exercise utmost discretion with sensitive financial and personnel information and represent the company professionally in all interactions. Job is full time, in person at office located in South Fulton.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks
- Daily entries, invoicing, deposits, vendor bills, payment runs
- Bank/credit card reconciliations; maintain clean, audit-ready ledgers
- Month-end close: accruals, journal entries, prepaids, fixed assets
- Financials: P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow
- Sales tax prep/filing; 1099/W-9 management; CPA year-end packages
- Payroll: Biweekly payroll for employees and payments to subcontractors
- Purchasing: Issue purchase orders to vendors, track orders, pre-payments, reconcile purchase orders to bills.
- Uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive owner/employee data with discretion and integrity.
- Communicate professionally with owners, CPA, vendors, and staff; respond promptly and respectfully.
Qualifications
- 5 years hands-on full-charge bookkeeping
- QuickBooks experienced user; strong Excel skills
- Strong grasp of accrual accounting and independent month-end close
- Organized, discreet, proactive communicator; comfortable supporting leadership
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential financial, payroll, and employee information.
