Janitorial Cleaning Technician (Temporary Assignment)
Location: Department Store
Position Type: Temporary, Part-Time
Assignment Duration: This is a temporary position expected to last no more than 90 days. Continued employment beyond the assignment is not guaranteed.
Schedule
- Position A: Sunday – Wednesday
- Position B: Thursday – Saturday
Shift: 7:15 AM – 9:15 AM (2-hour shifts)
Position Overview
CleanCore Janitorial is seeking dependable and detail oriented Cleaning Technicians for a temporary assignment at a department store. Team members are responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment before the store opens each morning. This position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work, can work independently, and consistently deliver high-quality results.
Essential Responsibilities
- Dust mop all hard floor surfaces
- Operate an automatic floor scrubber
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Clean fitting rooms
- Clean the employee break room
- Clean and maintain the sales floor
- Clean and organize the janitorial closet
- Spot clean glass, doors, and other high-touch surfaces
- Follow company cleaning procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Report maintenance concerns or supply needs to management
Qualifications
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
- Janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required—paid training is provided
