OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Chemical Mixer/Line Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with mixing chemicals in a manufacturing environment and be able to work with little or no supervision.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and prepare tanks for batches following Good Manufacturing Procedures.
- Verify raw materials (powder and liquid) are staged in order.
- Weigh, measure and mix raw materials according to instructions.
- Record and document all weights and measures of raw materials.
- Collect samples for QC evaluation.
- Check stock of material levels on hand and requisition materials as required.
- Must have the ability to work on your own with little or no supervision.
- Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- When not performing the above duties, will serve as a Production Line Lead.
- Aids in running of the production floor.
- Oversees/monitors filling line for production and quality issues.
- Adjusts the machine to comply with product specifications.
- Gives directions to line personnel in order to efficiently package end product for distribution.
- Coordinates with the floor leader to rectify problems such as damage, shortages and nonconformance to specifications.
- Compiles data throughout production runs and accurately reports results through production logs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-motivated, team player that is proactive in terms of taking the initiative to perform tasks as required.
- Trust-worthy, reliable, time-conscious and keen on details.
- Ability to work independently.
- Possess good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum academic qualification is a high school diploma/GED.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
