Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing all surfaces
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure spotless surfaces
- Manage kitchen duties including cooking assistance when required and maintaining sanitation standards
- Safely lift and move heavy furniture or equipment during deep cleaning or rearrangement tasks
- Execute outdoor work such as cleaning patios, windows, and exterior entryways to enhance curb appeal
- Follow established housekeeping protocols to ensure consistent quality and customer satisfaction
- Use custodial tools and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and sanitation
Experience
- Prior experience in residential cleaning or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Experience with commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is a strong advantage
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Hands-on experience with laundry operations and outdoor maintenance tasks
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled periods
- Background in housekeeper management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
