Clean Franchise Brands, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal who excels at drafting, reviewing, and refining legal documents. This role is hands-on and central to our legal operations, supporting a wide range of agreements, transactions, and ongoing initiatives across our franchise network.
You’ll work closely with the Legal Director and General Counsel on substantive drafting and transactional projects, helping maintain consistency across our documents and ensuring the Legal Department executes key company objectives efficiently and accurately.

Core Responsibilities:
- Draft, revise, and finalize a wide range of legal documents, including franchise agreements, amendments, transfer and assignment agreements, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, and other related business contracts.
- Review and redline third-party documents for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain organized files, exhibits, and document versions related to the company’s Franchise Disclosure Documents (FDD) and other legal filings.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of franchise and corporate transactions, including franchise transfers, new franchisee onboarding, and entity formations.
- Conduct legal and factual research to support contract drafting, compliance initiatives, and due diligence projects.
- Track and manage deadlines for contracts, renewals, and corporate filings.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including operations, accounting, and development, to ensure consistent execution of agreements and policies.
Required Skills and Qualities:
- Strong drafting, editing, and legal writing skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and document organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, OneDrive, ZOOM and Teams.
- Solid understanding of legal document structure, contract language, and general transactional processes.
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Professional judgment, discretion, and a collaborative attitude.
- While all are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates located in Kansas City, MO or Naples, FL.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house legal department setting.
- Exposure to corporate, transactional, or franchise law (preferred).
Application and Nomination:
The pay for this position will be up to $70,000. The candidate will also be eligible for quarterly performance bonuses, with an annual aggregate bonus opportunity up to 10% of base salary.
