Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. The Janitor will be responsible for both commercial and residential spaces, contributing to the overall upkeep of the facilities.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain floors through various methods including buffing and waxing as needed.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized regularly.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Conduct minor maintenance tasks and report any significant repairs needed to management.
- Assist with industrial cleaning as required, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Provide porter services by maintaining cleanliness in common areas and assisting with event setups if necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus.
- Experience in floor care techniques such as buffing, waxing, and stripping is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.

This is a full time position- Monday-Thursday from 2pm- 8-9pm and Fridays from 2pm-5-6pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
