We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at the Yellow Springs Community Children's Center in Yellow Springs. This role is vital in helping us maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and staff, reflecting our company's values of quality and reliability.
Job Title: Cleaner – Yellow Springs Community Children's Center
Location: 320 Corey St, Yellow Springs, OH 45387
Schedule: Monday – Friday
- 2.5 hours budgeted per day (expect closer to 3–3.5 hours)
Pay: $15 $1
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
- Handle floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used efficiently and safely.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
- Support team members to meet the cleanliness standards of the facility.
- Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures.
- Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties.
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus.
