WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT – JOB DESCRPTION
Overview
The Warehouse Assistant will work directly with the warehouse manager and will be responsible for effective warehouse organization and equipment control.
This is a key position for the effective preparation of events. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and independent decision-making skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for equipment receiving and distribution.
- Ability to follow directions, execute prep-pull orders, and ops completed sheets.
- De-prep and conduct quality control inspections of all returned equipment.
- Load and unload trucks with equipment to be delivered to event venues.
- Adhere to company safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Forklift experience is not necessary but a plus.
- CDL or large vehicle experience is not necessary but a plus.
- Work hard and have fun!
Physical demands:
While performing duties of this job, the employee continuously lifts and moves facility equipment and/or tools. Position will require employee to frequently bend, stoop, or crouch to process equipment. This position requires frequent lifting of 30 pounds; occasionally lifting of up to 75 pounds.
