Clayton County is accepting applications for the full-time position of Engineering Technician.
Under the guidance/direction of the Engineer, the Engineering Technician performs duties to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Engineer's Office, as well as support the secondary roads department by assisting with roadway maintenance, such as snowplowing and other projects. This position requires a High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED), a valid Class A Driver’s License and must be insurable under County's auto insurance Policy.
What you'll do:
- Collect field data and measurements
- Maintain accurate project records and reports
- Support safe, compliant infrastructure projects
- Coordinate with field crews and contractors
- Spend approximately 20-25% of you time assisting with roadway maintenance as Maintenance Worker I.
