The Clayton Company is looking for a Heavy Equipment mechanic for our Jackson location. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years mechanical experience and have their own tools. We are willing to train someone that has mechanical experience.
Job description:
- Trouble shoot, diagnose, and repair all makes and models of heavy and light equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on all types of heavy and light equipment
- Ability to repair or replace engine, transmission, and exhaust components
Job requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience mechanical experience
- Have complete set of tools to handle all types of repairs
- Ability to read service manuals, technical specifications, electrical diagrams
- Ability to write service reports and part requests
- Ability to maintain a clear work area
- Candidate must be able to frequently lift or move up to 100 pounds
