Claystone Construction Is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Fueler/Oiler for our projects in the northern Colorado front range. We have an extensive fleet of CAT equipment consisting of: 627 Scrapers, 45 Ton Haul Trucks, Dozers, Water Trucks, Agg Tractors, Motor Graders (Blades), Excavators, Loaders, Compactors and more. Job Description>
This position is responsible for checking fluid levels (fluid, grease and oil) and performing preventative maintenance (lubrication, oil changes, oil/air filters and oil samples) on all heavy equipment used on our construction projects. The Fueler/oiler must also safely operate a lube/grease truck to dispense lubricants to construction equipment . Must be able to take direction and accurately log daily activities such as oil changes, samples, fuel usage, etc. Ensures a safe work environment in compliance of all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Responsible for fueling, service and lube all equipment on assigned projects. Servicing a wide variety of heavy equipment including scrapers, blades, dozers, excavators, haul trucks, agg tractors, water trucks and other equipment. Checking and maintaining proper fluid levels for various compartments including engine, hydraulics, transmissions, etc. Monitoring and maintaining inventories of fuel, oil, filters and other supplies. Completes all paperwork as necessary including but not limited to work orders, parts requests, time cards, logs, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be safety oriented and exhibit safe work habits. Hands on experience in truck and equipment maintenance preferred. Flexibility to work various schedules including overtime and weekends, communicate effectively both written and verbally. Valid CDL(A) license and clean driving record. Class A CDL with tanker, Hazmat endorsements required. Pass drug screen, 2-4 years of fuel/oiler experience preferred, experience with heavy equipment desired. Physical requirements include ability to lift 50 pounds, perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling materials.
