CLAY’S POWER EQUIPMENT
Parts/Sales Associate
General Requirements:
o Must be at work on time
o Must be willing to work 40 hour week w/occasional Saturday hours
o Maintain professional appearance with required Clay’s dress policy and shirts tucked in.
o Have a friendly, outgoing personality with good people skills to be exhibited to customers and employees alike
o Must be willing to work as a team
o Must be able to start and operate equipment (some do require pull starting – training provided)
o Must be able to lift and load heavy equipment
o Must be able to operate forklift (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
o Primary Responsibility – Present, demonstrate, and sell equipment, parts, and accessories
o Greet all customers promptly and courteously as they enter store, and provide excellent customer service to meet their specific needs
o Prepare quotes and financing contracts and turning in all necessary paperwork to designated person
o Responsible for completing required modules in ongoing training programs
o Responsible for promoting Clay’s Cutter Club with every mower
o Responsible for knowing manufacturers standard warranty guidelines as well as Clay’s Cutter Club extended warranty guidelines
Daily Duties and Responsibilities:
o Learning to use Infinity
o Learning to use parts diagrams to look up and sell parts
o Receiving and filling parts orders from customers
o Answering phone calls and stocking showroom inventory
o Notifying Sales Coordinator if whole good is not in stock
o Notifying Parts Coordinator if part is not in stock
o All inventory is priced correctly with neat, easy to read price tags
o Shelving dusted, rugs vacuumed, floor swept, and Equipment inventory cleaned on showroom floor and outside under shelter
o All outside areas blown as needed
Month Duties and Responsibilities:
o Discuss any issues and improvement process implemented to correct performance issues
Annual Duties and Responsibilities:
o Meet with Store Manager for formal performance evaluation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
