Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to lead our accounting team in Jacksonville, Florida.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Ensure compliance with both GAAP and income tax basis of accounting.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial reports for management and external stakeholders.
- Manage a small local team of accountants
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience & Technical Knowledge:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
