Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning.
- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting areas such as assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, and sensory processing.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including speech therapists, physicians, nurses, and educators—to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Primary coverage includes inpatient and swingbed patients with daily coverage for outpatients as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Support clients’ progress through ongoing evaluation, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on clinical observations and patient response.
Candidates must possess exceptional interpersonal and documentation skills, as well as be punctual and dependable. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time when needed and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education required includes a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy and IL licensure. This is a part time, benefit eligible role with flexible scheduling, Monday through Friday. 48 hours per pay period (biweekly) and pay begins at $40.77 and increases with experience.
