What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Sanitation Lead Position - 2nd Shift position at Clay County Hospital?
Works within the Clay County Hospital and Flora clinic to care for patient environments, clean and sanitize all areas and provide a safe environment for our patients, staff and visitors. Duties include but are not limited to: completing daily checklists, dispose of all waste in appropriate manners, follow accepted cleaning procedures in preparing chemicals, using proper PPE, supervising staff and being able to float between multiple areas during the shift.
Ideal candidate should hold a high school diploma or GED plus have housekeeping experience. Basic reading and computer skills are needed. Physical requirements include bending, walking, vacuuming, mopping, going up and down stairs, lifting 25 lbs or less.
Role is full time, M-F with some holidays and weekends. Hours are 2pm to 10:30pm. Starting pay is $18.23 per hour. Shift differential of 6% applies from hours of 3pm to 11pm, and an additional weekend shift differential of $1.50 applies to shifts worked on the weekends after midnight on Fridays.
Education Requirements: HS Diploma or GED, Housekeeping Experience preferred
