What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESE Behavior Site Coach position at Clay County District Schools?
This position includes a $4,800 ESE salary supplement.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge or experience in programming or planning for the educational and behavioral needs of students with or at risk of emotional or behavioral disability.
- Currently possess or eligibility to receive a valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in a child related field (i.e., Exceptional Student Education, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology).
- Three (3) years of experience teaching or working with students with autism or emotional/behavioral difficulties.
- Current certification in Safe Crisis Management.
- Effective interpersonal skills.

BACKGROUND SCREENING:
All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
