The Used Car Sales Manager is responsible for managing the pre-owned vehicle department, improving profitability, optimizing inventory, and leading the sales team to exceed performance objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Utilize used vehicle inventory, appraisals, and pricing to ensure profitability and market competitiveness.
- Work closely with the General Manager and Finance Department to ensure a consistent deal structure and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and all applicable laws.
- Maintain a positive, high-energy culture that promotes performance and customer loyalty.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive sales (used car management preferred).
- Knowledge of vehicle appraisals, reconditioning, and inventory management.
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to exceed their goals.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in dealership CRM and DMS systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
