Ford of Arlington seeks a certified, experienced, and innovative Service Technician for complex diagnostics and maintenance on all vehicle areas, including specialized Ford systems, to join their team. Role Responsibilities

• Diagnose and Collaborate
• Inspect malfunctioning equipment and accurately diagnose mechanical issues. The Service Technician will devise a repair plan, secure the necessary components with the Parts Department, and team up with management and other technicians to confirm efficient and effective service.
• Install, Repair, and Maintenance
• Install new equipment or systems and perform routine maintenance to guarantee optimal performance of the customer's vehicles.
• Customer Interaction and Problem Solving:
• Assist customers to understand their needs, explain diagnoses, and provide solutions to ensure service satisfaction. The Service Technician will trouble shoot and resolve issues effectively.
• Document and Report
• Document the repair and maintenance work performed. The Service Technician will note concerns encountered and create a detailed service report.
  

Employee Prerequisites

• Technician knowledge/experience is REQUIRED. Pay is based on experience.
• Certifications, Licenses, and local registrations required for the position.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, maintenance, and procedure manuals.
