Pay Range: $26.40-$34.31*
A Social Work Assistant is a member of the interdisciplinary team who works directly under the supervision of a Licensed Social Worker to provide a variety of case management service and coordination to the patients and families of the Children’s Mental Health Unit. Duties may include but not limited to assessing patient and families background information, individual needs, strengths and limitations; identification, implementation, coordination and evaluation of services. Preparation of written assessments, progress notes and reports/letters, communication to service providers. Collecting data to assist with treatment plans, motoring the patient’s progress towards goals and outcome achievements.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a human service area OR a Bachelor’s degree or higher in human service area and one year of post bachelor’s social work experience. Examples of non-qualifying degrees include but are not limited to: anthropology, archeology, communication, criminal justice, fine arts, philosophy, and political science.
Preferred
One year post bachelor’s experience with children and families
Training And Experience
Preferred one year experience in a mental health setting or setting working with children and families.
