CAH- Registration- Switchboard Operator - Part Time – Various Shifts (5.5 and 7.5 hour shifts; 7.5 hour shifts from 7a-3p when working days)– Req. 9209
Pay Range $16.47-$18.69*
The Switchboard Operator operates the switchboard and paging system. They receive incoming calls, must ascertain the nature of calls, and must relay the calls to the proper location. The Switchboard Operator is responsible for paging authorized personnel according to procedure and announces authorized messages. The Switchboard Operator is responsible for clerical duties as assigned and assists visitors and patients with guest check-in a timely and polite manner. The Switchboard Operator is the first point of contact for patients and excellent customer service is a must.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills and positive attitude while dealing with people.
- Appropriate written and verbal communication skills must possess positive customer service skills and professionally manage conflict with various age groups, primarily in the adult level.
- Strong team player and ability to work independently.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve.
- Must be flexible and open to change.
