You will have a primary shift for this role but will rotate shifts per business needs (this is done on a scheduled rotation). Weekend rotation every third weekend

Radiology - Medical Imaging Tech – Part Time Various Shifts (Req4391) $5000 Sign On Bonus!

Primary shift either 7:30a-7:30p or 9:00a-9:00p; can be scheduled 7:30p-7:30a

Pay Range

Radiologic tech:$35.08-$40.44*

With CT: $35.79-$42.79* (will train for this modality)

Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Performs radiographic procedures. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides patient care essential to radiographic procedures. Recognizes patient conditions requiring immediate action and initiates life support measures. Performs all aspects of clerical duties essential to running an efficient department. Maintains all equipment to obtain best possible results. Is in-serviced in QA program and helps obtain information needed. Helps perform testing required by NYSDOH. Follows hospital and department policies. Assists in film retrieval from off-site storage facility.

Requirements

• Graduate of Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (AMA) Accredited Medical Imaging Program, or equivalent; American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification, or equivalent; competency in components of Medical Imaging practice as appropriate; valid state credential, if applicable.
• When applicable, a department technologist will be assigned as QA/QC tech, collecting data and results.
• When applicable, a department technologist will be assigned as clinical instructor for radiology students.
• When applicable, a trained CT technologist will perform all CT scans as assigned and associated duties with this specialty.
• Must possess knowledge of age specific needs and growth and development requirements for the infant through geriatric age population served as is relevant to Radiologic procedures.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• CT Tech's are required to have licensed certified to inject per requirements on Section 89.40 of Part 89.
• The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts. This rate does not include the shift differential of $5 for hours worked between 3p-11p (must work 4 hours to qualify) and $6 for hours worked between 11p-7p (must work 4 hours to qualify).
