Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide clinical nutrition services in a hospital setting in Liberty, Kentucky.
This is a part-time position requiring approximately three days of onsite coverage per week (24 hr/wk). The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and enjoy working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and complete required clinical documentation
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
- Monitor patients' nutritional status and identify patients at nutrition risk
- Review and address nutrition-related labs, medications, and clinical concerns as appropriate
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and families as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings, as applicable
- Provide consistent onsite clinical coverage approximately three days per week
Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian credential (CDR) required
- Active Kentucky state licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Strong clinical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Hospital or acute care clinical nutrition experience preferred, but not required
