What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist position at Claxton Dietetic Solutions?
Claxton Dietetic Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care for a long-term care/rehabilitation facility in the surrounding Shelby, MS area.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 8 hours per week
- Visits: Weekdays only
- Experience: Geriatric experience preferred, not required
Responsibilities include:
- Completing nutrition assessments and clinical documentation
- MDS assessments and care plan development
- Monitoring resident weights and participating in Nutrition at Risk meetings
- Conducting weekly meal rounds
- Completing monthly sanitation audits
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Registration by the CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration)
- State license or certification as applicable per state
- Criminal background check
- TB skin test
- Drug screen
Hourly Pay Rate is negotiable, with experience considered.
