We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys luxury retail, building client relationships, and helping customers with meaningful purchases such as engagement rings, wedding bands, diamonds, watches, and custom jewelry.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner
- Provide a consultative sales experience tailored to each customer’s needs
- Assist customers with engagement rings, diamonds, watches, and fine jewelry selections
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
- Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals
- Educate customers on diamonds, gemstones, metals, pricing, warranties, and care
- Maintain knowledge of current inventory and industry trends
- Keep displays clean, organized, and visually appealing
- Assist with inventory management and merchandising
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems
- Support opening and closing store procedures
- Assist with repairs, appraisals, custom design inquiries, and customer follow-ups
- Coordinate with jewelers and service teams as needed
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–3 years of retail sales experience (luxury or jewelry preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build rapport and close sales
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency
- Availability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays
Preferred:
- Experience in jewelry or luxury retail sales
- Knowledge of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry
- Experience with bridal or custom jewelry sales
- GIA coursework or certification (a plus, not required)
