Claudio’s Restaurants, the historic waterfront venue in Greenport, New York is looking for qualified culinary team members. Overseen by NYC-based Seasoned Hospitality, Claudio’s include four diverse restaurants and is the premier destination on the North Fork of Long Island for great food, refreshing cocktails, live music, and memorable experiences and fun for all!
Applicants must possess a passion for hospitality and guest service, along with an ability to multi-task under pressure. Teamwork, mutual respect, and great communication are a must. Applicants should expect a high volume of business while maintaining standards and details.
Culinary Team Members
- Maintain a ‘Guest First’ atmosphere in the kitchen to support the service team
- Provide coverage or assistance to all stations as needed
- Ensure consistency of all recipes
- Upkeep and maintenance of the facility and its equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards throughout the facility in compliance with SCDOH standards
- Maintain a safe environment for all team members
- Help execute all a la carte and banquet service
- Be proactive
- Actively participate as team player with our property-wide organization
- Two years of experience in a high-volume restaurant
- Excellent knife skills, plating techniques, and attention to detail
- Certificate in Suffolk County Food Protection or willingness to obtain
- Lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work long hours standing, shifts will last up to 10 to 12 hours
