Receptionist / Customer Care Representative
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and resourceful Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This is a hands-on customer service role—not simply answering and transferring calls.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and resolve routine customer needs
- Process payments and assist with billing questions
- Send ID cards, policy documents, and complete routine policy changes
- Assist with vehicle changes, lienholder updates, Drive Safe & Save, and other service requests
- Document conversations and follow up as needed
- Research questions before escalating to another team member
- Identify opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs
- Pivot conversations to other lines of insurance when appropriate and offer to connect customers with the sales team
- Help generate sales appointments, referrals, and Google reviews
Licensing & Sales
- Property & Casualty license required or must be obtained within the required timeframe
- Life & Health licensing is a plus
- This is primarily a customer service/reception role, but there are sales-related expectations
- You will be expected to recognize opportunities during customer conversations, ask appropriate questions, pivot to additional products, and offer a warm transfer or appointment with the sales team
- Licensed team members may also assist with quotes or sales within their training and authority
