we are seeking a dedicated and hard working individual responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches and ensuring a high standard of food safety and sanitation. You will play a key part in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Duties
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards.
- Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with health regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the dining area to ensure a pleasant experience for customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required for this position
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not required.
