ABOUT CLATSOP COUNTY
Today Clatsop County is one of nine Home Rule counties in Oregon. Five non-partisan elected Commissioners set policy and appoint a full-time County Manager, who is responsible for daily operations. County services are provided through nine divisions: County Administration (County Manager), Assessment and Taxation, Budget and Finance, County Clerk, Community Development, Juvenile, Public Health, Public Works, the District Attorney, and Sheriff’s Offices. The county also administers a road district, a rural law enforcement district, and a local sewer district.
THE POSITION
This position will accompany a Clatsop County Department of Public Health tobacco retail license (TRL) program compliance specialist to perform tobacco retail age-of-sale compliance checks with confidence, reliability, and attention to detail. This is a temporary and project-focused position for which training is provided.

- Possess a current state-issued identification or driver’s license.
- Educational background or leadership experience in health, civics, criminal justice, sociology, or related subject.
