  • Conduct outreach presentations, workshops, and events for prospective students and families in both English and Spanish.
  • Build relationships with local schools, community centers, workforce development programs, and other partners to promote enrollment in postsecondary pathways.
  • Support the creation of culturally relevant marketing and informational materials to reach diverse communities.

Student Transition & First-Year Support:

  • Provide individualized support for students preparing to transition into college, including academic planning, application assistance, and financial aid navigation.
  • Assist students with enrollment processes such as admissions, placement testing, orientation, advising/class registration, and use of the student portal.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with students during their first year of college to ensure retention and success, including regular check-ins and early intervention.
  • Coordinate referrals to academic, financial, and social-emotional support services as needed.

Collaboration & Program Development:

  • Work closely with counselors, faculty, advisors, and community partners to develop and implement effective transition plans for each student.
  • Participate in the development of culturally responsive workshops, college-readiness curriculum, and family engagement activities.
  • Collect and maintain data for program tracking, evaluation, and grant reporting.
  • Serve as an advocate for equitable access and inclusive support practices across programs and departments.
